About
Hi, I’m Cat. I am a certified practitioner of Horse Guided Empowerment® and Horse Powered Reading® and the founder of Sapphire Farms LLC.
I hold an M.S in Special Education and have over 10 years experience working with youth, building confidence, self awareness, social emotional learning, leadership skills as well as academic reading, writing and math skills.
My passion for working with horses began at the age of 3 years old when I first learned to ride. Throughout my life working with horses, whether it was volunteering at a horse therapy stable, competing in professional rodeo, or training my own horses, I have both witnessed and experienced first hand the great gifts that horses bring and I have always known that I would one day share these gifts with others. This is how Sapphire Farms came to be.
Our herd lives happily on a 30 acre farm on the beautiful Oregon Coast. Each horse is a member of the family and an an invaluable part of the horse guided empowerment program. These amazing animals are what make it all possible!
